1. Plan your day at the day after
Do not leave for tomorrow what you can do today. To make the morning routine easier, leave everything prepared: the clothes you’re going to wear, the bag, and everything you will need. This helps you to get prepared much faster in the morning, especially for women who can take hours looking at the wardrobe deciding what they will wear.
If you don´t leave everything prepared, at least make a checklist with everything that you have to do in the morning in chronological order or relevance.
Also write a note the day before, with a motivating quote, and leave it in a visible place. When you wake up the next day you will feel inspired to jump out of bed and face the day.
2. Wake up Earlier
Waking up early is important to have time to get prepared, with no delays, no stress and better mood. If you can’t get up early, try going to bed earlier in the evening, and let the alarm clock far away from the bed to force you to jump of the bed when it rings.Set an alarm hour that gives you time to do everything that you have to do in the morning calmly.
3. Workout routine
Exercise in the morning is very beneficial for the body and mind. Even if you have no time to go to the gym, take a few minutes to work out at home daily. At the end take a good shower and you will feel your body more energetic to face the day. Another option is to leave home and run for about 30 minutes, or if you have to take the dog to outside, take that time to do a little exercise. It will be hard in the early days, but then your body will get used to.
4. Take time to the breakfast
As my mother always says, “you should never leave home with an empty stomach.” Taking breakfast is essential. It is the most important meal of the day and should not be overlooked. Opt for something healthy but something that can give you the necessary energy for the whole morning (fruit and cereals are a good choice). It is also important to take time for yourself, so, sit down while having breakfast, perhaps in the company of family and enjoy the moment.
5. Listen to music
Music is magic, and it is the instant way to you for good mood. Pick your favorite songs, those that make you dance, sing and have motivational messages. You can make your playlist in your smartphone and listen to it anywhere in the house. Or you can just turn on the radio to a station that always have music playing. During the morning exercise is also a good time to listen to music.
6. Arrive at work Earlier
Arrive late at work can ruin your day. and leave you with a bad mood. Avoid that. Leave home early and make the road quietly, without stress. The ideal is to arrive early and have time to greet colleagues, share some news and drink a coffee.
